Our General Store is just like you'd imagine a lake store to be. Open seasonally,
Moosebirds is known for being the friendliest place on the Lake. Serving wonderful
giant ice cream cones to add to your vacation pleasure is a specialty at Moosebirds.
You'll find great northwoods style gifts from our Gift Shop. A wonderous selection
of Lake Vermilion or up north style T-shirts and sweatshirts make Moosebirds the
place where everyone shops.
Groceries including milk, eggs, pop, charcoal, pancake fixin's, or anything else you
might need are all available at Moosebirds.
We carry the biggest selection of bait
on this end of the lake. Our bait and tackle department has a wide selection of
tackle, rods and reels, or fishing nets. We're electronically connected for your
fishing license application. You'll be sure to find what you are looking for at
Moosebirds. The area guides stop in almost daily and we try to find out where
the fish are biting and how to catch them. So stop in and let's talk fishin'.
We rent pontoon boats or fishing boats by the day or
by the week. It's best to reserve them ahead of time as this is a popular Moosebird activity.

You can find us by land or lake. We are in the back of Spring Bay, along side Hibbing
Point. Or by land we are on Hwy #24 about 9 miles outside of Cook right past Spring Bay Resort.
